How Have We Been Changing And Growing?

So how have we been changing and growing? There are lots of new things we’re working on right now as a church body. Just last week, a team of men poured concrete and rebuilt our ramp to the church office so that it is ADA compliant. Thanks guys! A new website will be rolling out in just a few weeks and I am totally thrilled with how well it is coming together. The website should be out just before VBS! We have a new church logo now that looks fantastic! Also, a new sign and new landscaping out front of Giddings and Main are on the way (hooray for curb appeal!).
The last month has been especially encouraging spiritually. Our new connections class had over a dozen people in it and that means more people to love and serve with in ministry! After spending 8 hours with our new friends, I assure you, you will love our up-and-coming church members.
Baptism Sunday is this Sunday night (the 31st), you are not going to want to miss this great celebration! Three new believers—Dany, Sergio, and Angel—will be baptized and publicly praising God for their new life in Christ! I can hardly wait!
Our hearts are with Al and Sarah Sproles and Matt and Linda Darby in this time as they each head east for Tennessee. Both of these precious families have loved and labored long here and have blessed and built up our congregation over many years, it will be our loss when they move. We take heart that God has a place and a purpose for them in Tennessee and will be with them every step of the way! Pray for them through this process as transitions are never easy. Remember Brady as he transitions to College and Molly and Matthew as they seek to adjust well to a new school and make new friendships.
The summer is upon us and that means lots of opportunity for getting together and sharing fun times with friends and family! I pray you have a wonderful summer and can do what is in your heart to do with good health and joy in God. God’s gifts are abundant to us all, how good He is to us! May your life be lived for our Savior this day and every day as God powerfully works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure!
