Biblical Counseling

Our church adheres to the biblical principle found in Romans 15:14 that the church members, when properly trained, will be "full of goodness, complete in knowledge and competent to instruct one another". As such, one of the unique factors of Grace Bible Church Visalia is its commitment to biblical counseling.

You may be wondering what is meant to by the term "biblical counseling". Biblical counseling is the Christ-centered, Holy Spirit empowered, practical application of biblical truths to a person's life through nurture, instruction, correction and prayer, with the goal of personal maturity and fruitfulness. The biblical counselor affirms that the final and supreme authority of the church and of every Christian is the Word of God. It is God's final word in everything that relates to faith and practice.
